Basketball, Softball & Volleyball

 

A representative of your Club/Independent Team, if your Club/Independent Team is interesting to bid for host future basketball, softball or volleyball tournaments, please read CAAD Rules and Regulations, Standing Rules, Basketball, Softball or Volleyball Tournament Host Club, Rules and Regulations and a Procedure to host CAAD Regional Basketball Softball or Volleyball Tournament for bids.  Any concerns or questions, please contact President/Commissioner & Sports Commissioner/Sports Information Director for procedure on how to bid, information and announcement.

Procedure to host CAAD Regional Basketball, Softball or Volleyball Tournament for bids:

If your Club/Independent Team is interested in hosting CAAD Regional Basketball, Softball or Volleyball Tournaments, then please have the following available:

  • A Club/Independent Team send a check, certified check or money order to CAAD in the amount of $200.00 Hostship Fee on bidding (See CAAD Rules and Regulations, SR XII Standing Rules, Miscellaneous, Appendix B2, Page 29) and $250.00 Advance Security Fee (See CAAD Rules and Regulations, SR XII Standing Rules, Miscellaneous, Appendix B3, Page 29) within 30 days or $450.00 total in full of bidding.

  • The authorized delegates bidding must show written consent from their Club/Independent Team, using their stationery and letterheads; they must have confirmations in writing as to availability of hotel headquarters, softball field - diamonds/fields or gyms for basketball or volleyball, entertainment and meeting rooms.

  • A written confirmation for the diamonds/fields showing the availability of at least four (4) softball field - diamonds/fields, two (2) to four (4) basketball or volleyball courts at the gyms.  We do allow the written confirmation for the softball field -  diamonds/fields or gyms for basketball or volleyball the following year.  Maps to the softball field - diamonds/fields, gyms for basketball or volleyball must be available to those who register.

  • Each Host Club/Independent Team shall appoint a Tournament Committee to take complete charge of CAAD Regional Basketball, Softball or Volleyball Tournament.  The Chairperson of the Regional Basketball, Softball or Volleyball Tournament Committee shall notify CAAD Officers of its respective official tournament date; site and address of softball field - diamonds/fields or gyms for basketball or volleyball; addresses of hotel headquarters; name and address of Host Club/Independent Team; name and address of Tournament Chairperson; names of Tournament Committee Members; and tournament program (tentative or complete) not later than December 1st of each year for Basketball, May 1st of each year for Softball or TBA of each year for Volleyball.
