
About CAAD

The athletic goals and objectives of the CAAD
shall be to:
- To represent CAAD in
all local, regional, national and international athletic competitions.
- To foster and improve
athletic for the deaf through its region in accordance with the standards
and under the rules and regulations prescribed by the USADB, NDBO, NSAD and
any National Level Sports.
- To serve as the
coordinating body for amateur athletic activity in the sport of Basketball,
Softball, and Volleyball.
- To protect and promote
the mutual interests of the Clubs/Independent Teams of the Deaf.
- To institute and award
the athletic championships of this Association.
- To encourage the teams to represent
this Association in all annual USADB, NDBO, NSAD and any National Level Sports
national and international athletic tournaments.
- To exercise jurisdiction over
regional amateur athletic activities and sanction regional amateur athletic
competition held in the Central region.
- To establish procedures
for the determination of player eligibility standards for participation in
regional competitions.
- To recommend the names
of qualified CAAD individuals and/or teams to USADSF for represent United
States in the any sport that can be held in Deaflymics, Deaf Pan American
Games, and other national and international athletic competition.
The development, educational
and leadership goals and objectives of the CAAD shall be to:
- To provide and serve
all Deaf & Hard of Hearing youths and adults with the highest ideals of
recreational, cultural, educational, and athletic programs.
- To provide program for
athletic, coach and leadership development training.
The charitable purposes goals and objectives
of the CAAD shall to be:
- To incorporate and to
register for charitable purposes within the meeting of Section 501(c)(3) of
the Internal Revenue Code.
- To recognize CAAD is
incorporated in the State of Illinois, and is organized and operated
exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3)
of the Internal Revenue Code.
